Meta Box User Avatar is a WordPress plugin that provides you with a simple way to add custom avatars for users. Since WordPress only supports Gravatar and doesn’t allow users to upload/use their own images as avatars, this plugin will help you solve this problem.
Once you installed Meta Box User Avatar plugin, you’ll see a new option in your profile or when you edit a user to choose a Custom Profile Picture, as shown in the screenshot above. After selecting a picture, it will be used everywhere on your site in the place of the old gravatar (comments, author info, etc.).
